CO-FOUNDER AND CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER

Dris is the chief investment officer at Ocho Capital, where he manages a hedged portfolio of public stocks and has invested in more than 35 private companies. He serves on the boards of Picket Homes, Over Easy Foods, and Lamp Post Franchisee. Previously, he was a portfolio manager and member of the Management Committee at Viking Global Investors, which had $13B in assets under management. Prior to Viking, he was a Director and senior equity research analyst at Credit Suisse. Dris has an MBA with high honors from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a BA with honors from Grinnell College. He enjoys golf, attending NBA playoff games, and finding the next exciting investment opportunity (although not necessarily in that order).

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Sean is a managing director at Ocho Capital, responsible for sourcing, evaluating and managing public and private investments. Prior to joining Ocho, he evaluated public investments at Noble Path Asset Management and Firefly Value Partners and private investments at Providence Equity Partners. He began his career at Greenhill & Co advising companies on mergers, acquisitions and restructuring transactions. Sean graduated from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business with Honors. Sean loves helping management teams and founders embrace possibilities and generating results by evaluating ideas, problems, and growth opportunities. Sean is a native Austinite and proud father of four children.

FINANCIAL ANALYST

Aaron works as a financial analyst for Ocho Capital, sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities while maintaining relationships with intermediaries, entrepreneurs, and other investors in the private market. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and holds a BA in Economics and an MS in Finance from UT’s McCombs School of Business. He comes from a family of small business owners and is passionate about helping entrepreneurs achieve their goals.

CO-FOUNDER

Clayton is a co-founder of Ocho Capital. Previously, he was chief investment officer and portfolio manager at Peak6. Prior to that, he was a senior research analyst at FTN Midwest Research and Credit Suisse covering business services and technology companies. He has a BA in Economics from Grinnell College. He is grateful for the opportunity to work with the team at Ocho Capital and provide strong leaders with the needed capital to execute their business plans.

HEAD OF OPERATIONS

John is the head of operations at Ocho Capital, which includes overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance, and investment administration. Prior, he was a relationship manager at a multi-family office providing comprehensive financial planning to high-net-worth clients and has 10 years of experience in investment, tax, and estate planning. John graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in Finance, International Business, and Entrepreneurship and has his CFP® certification. He enjoys working closely with others in a team approach to achieve common goals.
